This assessment is aligned with CQC regulatory requirements and Quality Statements and incorporates relevant ISO 9001:2015 quality-management principles. Providers do not need to operate an ISO 9001-certified quality management system to use this assessment. ISO references are included to strengthen governance, assurance and continual improvement. This is an assurance review, not a CQC inspection or ISO certification audit, and it does not predict a CQC rating or demonstrate compliance or certification.
